What do you think makes you stand out as a hairstylist?
I've been doing hair for 13 years. I've worked in four major cities and have taken advanced education all over the world. I continue to work part-time in NYC, which I believe to be at the forefront of cutting edge style. I've worked in editorial as well as behind the salon chair.

Tell us about some of the advanced training you've taken.
I've had advanced training through Bumble and Bumble, Aveda, pivot point. Nick arrojo, and john shag for cutting. I've also taken advanced color classes thru Wella, Logics, Aveda, Bumble and Bumble, and Schwartscopf.

Why did you want to become a hairstylist?
I'm passionate about the way a person's image can affect their self confidence. As a stylist I have the power to help people feel confident and excited about the way they look, and that fuels my passion.

Any favorite hair styling secret weapons?
My favorite product is the kusco murphy lavender hair cream...it's a universal styler that can be used wet or dry and works for almost every hair type and style!

What do you like about working at VAIN?
VAIN gives home to my creative outlet!
