Shop local, handmade, and recycled
Join us at VAIN Ballard on Saturday December 19 from 4-8pm for Luminaries in Ballard – an evening with hay rides through luminary-lined streets. Stroll the neighborhood, listen to carolers, and enjoy holiday treats at VAIN and other select merchant locations. We will also have wonderful handmade items by 3 local artists and lots of of other great holiday gifts.

Using recycled bicycle chain rings Erica Gordon of Steel Toe Studio makes fabulous hand forged belt buckles and bottle openers. Also handmade belts in leather or recycled bicycle inner tubes are available.

Incorporating upcycled vintage jewelry components, Krissy Maier of Orangebox Jewelry, creates eco-friendly yet very fashionable jewelry.

We will also have wonderful Victorian inspired silver jewelry by Mary Powers who uses beautiful vintage buttons and thimbles in her work.

I am trying to find a website for Harriet McNamara jewelry and was wondering if you had her contact information or her website? I am from St. Louis, MO and bought one of her necklaces while in Seattle and would like to purchase more.
Thanks,
Kerry

I’ve owned one of her belt buckles for a couple years now… she made one special via her Etsy store. I love it! Not only is it steampunk/industrial and unique, but it opens beer bottles. Definitely recommend her motorcycle gear work!
*yes I admit it’s fun to make sly faces while sliding the bottle down to my crotch and POP open it with my buckle*
